Connecting Your Bluebot to Your Gateway

How to connect the Bluebot ProLink to your LoRaWAN gateway.

Updated this week

Quick Answer

Your gateway is preconfigured. Just power it on and connect it to the internet. Bluebot meters within range will automatically connect.

How the Gateway Connection Works

Because your gateway is already set up to work with your Bluebot meters, no manual pairing is required.

What to Do

  1. Plug the gateway into power

  2. Connect the gateway to the internet using either:

    • Ethernet (directly to your router), or

    • A data-only SIM card (gateway model dependent)

That’s it — the gateway will handle the connection automatically.

Confirming a Successful Connection

Once your Bluebot ProLink connects to the gateway:

  • The LED will change from flashing green to solid or flashing blue

LED meanings:

  • Solid blue: Connected and online

  • Flashing blue: Connected and detecting flow

If the LED is flashing blue during setup, remember to set the zero point in the app to ensure accurate readings.
