How Bluebot Plans Are Billed

  • Annual Subscription:
    Plan fees are billed once per year and cover the next 12 months of service.

  • Per-Device Plan:
    Plans are per meter, meaning each device with Premium is on its own plan.

  • Manual Activation:
    Plan upgrades or prepaid plans (such as those purchased through Amazon) must be activated by support after payment and account setup.
    Activation is typically completed within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).

  • Upgrade Timing:
    If you upgrade mid-year, your new plan is still 12 months from the activation date — you don’t lose time.

Basic Plan (Included)

Cost:
Included with your Bluebot device (except Bluebot Mini, which requires a plan to be activated)

What it includes:

  • Standard data streaming

  • Up to 90 days of historical data

  • 1 alert per meter

  • Monitoring up to 2 meters

Best for:

  • Simple water monitoring

  • Households or small installs

  • Occasional data review

Premium Plan (Optional Paid Plan)

Cost:
Billed annually per meter.
Exact pricing depends on your purchase or invoice — check your order or contact Support for your current rate.

What it includes:

  • Near real-time data updates

  • Up to 12 months of historical data

  • Multiple alerts per meter

  • Able to view 3+ meters on Dashboard

  • Longer trend analysis and alerts

Best for:

  • Multiple meters or systems

  • Properties with irrigation or seasonal variation

  • Long-term tracking and billing analysis

  • Advanced alerting

Billing Details

  • You will receive a payment invoice prior to activation (typically via Square).

  • Once payment is confirmed and your Bluebot account exists, Support will manually activate your plan.

  • Plan changes (upgrades or new plans) do not prorate or shorten your coverage year — they always run for a full 12 months from activation.


Amazon Purchases & Prepaid Plans

If you purchased a plan through Amazon:

  • The plan is not automatically applied to your Bluebot account.

  • After creating your account and adding your device, you must contact Support to have the prepaid plan activated on your account.

  • Support typically activates prepaid plans within 24 hours after account setup.


How to Check Your Plan

  • Open the Bluebot app or FloDash dashboard

  • Go to Account or Billing section
    You should see your current plan status, expiry date, and alert limits.

Q: Can I switch plans mid-year?
A: Yes. Upgrades take effect when activated, and your plan runs 12 months from that date.

Q: Does Basic cost extra?
A: No — Basic is included with the device (except the Mini).

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
