Does Bluebot need to be installed in a specific orientation?
No. Bluebot can be installed:
Horizontally or vertically
Upside down
In either direction of water flow
As long as the device is properly aligned and tightly clamped to the pipe, orientation does not affect performance.
Can Bluebot be installed outdoors?
Yes. Bluebot is weather-resistant and designed for outdoor installations, including irrigation boxes.
Important notes:
Do not submerge the device in water
In cold climates, insulating the device is recommended to protect it from freezing conditions (our meter jacket is great for this!)
