How Bluebot Is Calibrated and Quality-Checked Before Shipping

Updated over a week ago

Every Bluebot device goes through a two-stage quality process before it reaches you. This ensures accuracy, reliability, and consistent performance right out of the box.

Factory Calibration & Quality Checks

Before leaving the factory, each Bluebot is:

  • Factory calibrated to ensure accurate flow measurement

  • Verified for proper sensor performance and functionality

  • Checked to confirm core systems are operating within expected parameters

This step establishes a reliable baseline so the device is ready for installation and setup when it arrives.

Warehouse Quality Control

After factory calibration, Bluebot devices are sent to our Monterey, California warehouse, where they undergo additional quality checks before shipping to customers.

In our Monterey lab, each device is:

  • Inspected for physical condition and build quality

  • Verified to power on and enter setup mode correctly

  • Checked to ensure communication and core functionality are working as expected

  • Installed using the same app our customers use

  • Installed on a pipe, and had flow rate checked

  • Reviewed for accuracy and overall readiness for customer use

Only devices that pass these checks are approved for shipment.

Our commitment to quality

This process—factory calibration followed by warehouse quality control—helps ensure that every Bluebot arrives ready to perform reliably in your installation.

If anything doesn’t behave as expected after installation, our support team is always here to help troubleshoot, adjust, or replace the device if needed.
